MUSIC: Jamie Lidell
A couple posts ago (Last.fm) I posted an image of the top 8 acts I’ve been listening to. Jamie Lidell was one of those eight. He sings soul music. When soul music is done by a white dude, critics call it blue-eyed soul. Now we both know. Oh, and just a heads up….Jamie is a quirky character. I like how he just lets himself go with the music.

Kevin, Crafton and I hit up Seattle. From our hotel near the Space Needle we walked to the Puget Sound and the wharf. After evading the seagulls poopfest (see photo #1) we hit the aquarium (see photo #2 and #3). Note to you, skip the aquarium and fly to Chicago to see the Shedd Aquarium. It’s 10x better from what I remember when Emma and I visited it back...

EVENT: Colorado Springs, CO at Red Martini

Tonight we threw our after party at the Red Martini in Colorado Springs. The bar isn’t just a bar, but a compound fitting eight unique (and very well designed) bars/clubs/watering holes. The staff was super chill and the event was super packed.
