New Band alert: Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds
Saw the band before The Black Keys played at moe.down. For those that remember the funk band, Deep Banana Blackout, this band (Sister Sparrow and The Dirty Birds) just might be your new favorite band. They are Brooklyn-based and play at Rockwood Music Hall in Manhattan (it’s one of my favorite live venues in the city). The music kicks in at the 1:05 minute mark.
