DEsign: Courtyard by Marriott, new lobby
So it seems a lot of my friends don’t really know what I do for work now that I’m not living out of a suitcase. It’s nice that you care. So to help answer the question…I sell high-end architectural millwork and case goods to corporate clients and general contractors nationwide.
The current marketing strategy I’ve been working on is for Marriott International, specifically for the brand-wide lobby renovation. The project is actually pretty cool, as you will see in the commercial spot above. Chances are good you have already seen this commercial on TV as it’s being broadcast on ESPN, Comedy Central, The History Channel, CNN, FX, USA, Investigative Discovery, Spike and Bravo.
My job is to get the hotel owners to see the benefits of having my firm, RB Woodcraft, Inc. fabricate and install the new lobby. We can install the next lobby in just 3 days with minimal disruption to their guests. We built the first two lobby prototypes. If you visit Courtyard in Chicago O’Hare or Irvine, CA….that’s our premium millwork. I’ve seen the new lobby first hand and it’s really quite welcoming and hip, sorta like Starbucks.
