The West Genesee High School Jazz Band perform Friday night at Jazz Fest at OCC before the headliner. I used to go to the concerts at the West Genny auditorium back when I was in high school bc my friends were in the band. I never realized how rare it would be to see a Big Band play with as much talent…in Syracuse. They were really tight. I was never a “bandie” but after watching them play tonight, I sorta wish I was.
