Weekend skiing Whiteface Lake Placid!
I spent the weekend in Lake Placid with the Arise & Ski volunteers as part of the Empire State Games for the Physically Challenged.. Two days of skiing down from the summit, the highest in the Northeast, with a new group of ski buddies was time well spent.
I’m now one step closer to making my job title “Ski Bum.”
It was also pretty cool seeing Lake Placid, the home of the 1980 Winter Olympics. A repeat visit in the Spring/Summer is in order. Whiteface Lake Placid online.
