CONCERT: Volunteering with DMB and Reverb
Before spending my 2008 Summer on the experiential marketing tour with the US Open Series of tennis via Valspar Paint I had a chance to hit up the Dave Matthews Band concert in Saratoga, New York.
A little backstory….The Jess (my sister) and I went to our first show at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) back in 1996 when the band was first starting to play amphitheaters. My parents took me, The Jess, and my friend Chris to the show. At 14 years old I knew I had been dealt a good pair of parents in Joe and Jane.
This year, however, The Jess and I got to be a part of the SPAC/DMB experience by volunteering with Reverb. Reverb is deeply rooted within the music and environmental communities, Reverb educates and engages musicians and their fans to promote environmental sustainability.
