HOME for Thanksgiving
So this post needs some clarification up front.
Back in Eugene, OR we hosted our Corona event at a bar called Rock-n-Rodeo. Before our event kicked off we had to wait for the weekly line-dancing group to finish. Sure, I had a laugh and even joined in for a bit. One song that the dance troupe got down to was “Home” by Marc Broussard as the video played through a projector. Marc is a musician from New Orleans and he’s one of the few musicians that I believe when he sings. Now that I am home for Thanksgiving I can empathize with the sentiment of the song. I especially like the last minute of the video when he’s playing on the porch with his friends and when he see’s his family again with the Summer sun setting behind them.
